My life before WLS
Before Surgery life was really restrictive. You cant go clothes shopping where you want, you have no confidence to do anything. I was backing out of social events and not wanting to go anywhere and not wanting to be seen. I became a recluse. I felt so embarrassed of my size. I didn’t socialise and I avoided going out with friends because of how i felt.
My Tonic experience
I chose Tonic because I saw so many success stories online and because of the aftercare package. You have the dietician, the PT, the psychotherapist and the constant support group from others who have had surgery and the team in the office.
