My life before WLS

I have struggled with my weight all of my adult life, I have PCOS and every diet I have tried just wasn’t successful. I have tried the Cambridge 121 diet, WeightWatchers, Slimming World and life was so different. I was always on the sidelines just looking in, I never felt like I reached my full potential. I was approaching 40 and feeling stagnant and stuck in the life that I was living.

My Tonic experience 

Pre and post surgery the team have been fantastic, Mr Al-Taan was my surgeon, the team helped guide me through the entire process. After surgery I had nurses calling me daily, dieticians, Harry the personal trainer, just a whole invaluable wealth of support there. If there is ever an issue somebody is always there. There is a facebook group with other members who have had surgery, I don’t think another company in the UK offers 5 year aftercare, this isn’t a quick fix this is the rest of your life. I have found them absolutely fantastic.

Life after surgery 

I have lost over 10 stone and I feel absolutely incredible. I would never have dreamt to have the life that I currently have now. I go out more,  I spend a lot more time outdoors with my daughter, I go to the gym, I never turn down an invitation to go out. I spend far too much money on clothes but its a small price to pay for what I have got for the rest of my life. I cant say any more times how much this has changed my life.  I am not the person I used to be 9 months ago. I just want to say thank you to Tonic because you have given me back my life.
