About Mr Christopher Sutton
Mr Sutton is a Consultant General Surgeon at University Hospitals of Leicester. He has a specialist interest in weight loss surgery and surgery to treat acid reflux. He was the first surgeon in the U.K to be awarded a fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from the British college. He offers a full range of primary bariatric procedures (balloon, band, endoscopic sleeve, laparoscopic sleeve bypass, BPD) as well as revisional surgery. He was the first surgeon in the U.K to perform an endoscopic suturing procedure using the revolutionary Overstitch device.
He performs a wide range of surgical procedures to treat reflux disease; Stretta, LINX, Endostim, Fundoplication, Gastric Bypass. He performed the first Endostim case in the U.K and the first Stretta on a post sleeve patient in the U.K, both with very good effect.
